    Company Overview: We are a dynamic and rapidly growing company based in Mount Vernon, WA, specializing in refrigeration installation services for a diverse range of clients, including major retail chains such as Walmart, Kroger, Costco, and Grocery Outlet. With a current team of less than 50 employees, we are committed to expanding our operations and growing our business from $2 million to $6 million in dept. revenue in the near future. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented and experienced Refrigeration Installation Department Manager to join our team.

    Position Overview: The Refrigeration Installation Department Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the installation of refrigeration systems across various locations along the Washington coast. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field and will possess strong leadership skills to manage a crew of union pipefitters, with the team expected to grow from 4 to 10 or 12 members in the near future.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and lead a team of union pipefitters, ensuring efficient and high-quality installation of refrigeration systems.
    • Oversee all aspects of departmental operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and project management.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including Walmart, Kroger, Costco, and Grocery Outlet, to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
    • Drive business development efforts to expand the company's client base and increase revenue.
    • Prepare accurate project estimates and budgets, and ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
    • Forecast future departmental needs and develop strategies to achieve departmental growth targets.
    • Collaborate closely with the owner/president to develop and implement strategic initiatives to grow the business.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in refrigeration installation, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
    • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive business growth.
    • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
    • Knowledge of union regulations and experience working with unionized labor.
    • Growth mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
    • Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
