The Opportunity

The thriving group of Kentucky-based companies we serve is seeking motivated military spouses who currently reside in Kentucky to fill positions as part-time Customer Engagement Specialists. The companies design and manufacture equipment for several important industries including asphalt, manufacturing and agricultural. They provide customers with recycling technology, energy-saving devices, and safety products.

The selected candidates will **** contact existing customers to confirm their primary contacts and major equipment data, and to uncover new potential opportunities to help the companies we serve to grow. They will report to our H.R. team, located in Louisville, KY. Once trained, employees in this role can work remotely from home using a company-provided cellphone and laptop computer.

This unique opportunity to work part-time from home will enable the selected applicants to acquire professional skills through interacting with multiple levels of industrial companies.

The Candidate

Primary Duties:

• Call existing customers to confirm and gather information about their primary plant contacts: e.g., their names, titles, office phone numbers, cell phone numbers and email addresses.
• Confirm and gather data about the customers’ major equipment at their specific plant location.
• Update customer contact information and equipment data in the customer database.
• Provide daily call summary reports including any potential sales opportunities for plant components.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Qualified applicants will have outgoing personalities with solid experience engaging customers by phone.
• They will be detail oriented, well-organized and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• They will have solid experience using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• They will be able to prioritize and complete tasks and make decisions independently when required.
• They are self-motivated team-players who think proactively and have a good work ethic.
• They currently reside in Kentucky.

Compensation : The selected candidates can earn $14-$17/hour (depending on comparable experience) with potential incentives. The weekly number of hours needed is likely 20-25 hours.
