  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Lead the development and execution of content strategies across email marketing, product launches, ad copy, newsletters, landing pages, and video ads. Content strategy should fit the brand strategy as set forth by the Brand Director. 
    • Manage creative team to execute on campaign briefs. 
    • Translate brand strategy to each brand marketing channel directing briefs and communications accordingly to unify and strengthen KOS brand messaging. 
    • Partner closely with KOS media buyer, DTC lead, Amazon lead, retention/email manager, influencer manager and owned social media manager to provide clear strategy and content briefs that they can execute in their respective areas of expertise. 
    • Lead development and unification of brand editorial calendar, supporting content strategy across all brand channels.
    • Direct key partners such as creatives and copywriter team members to ensure high-quality, data-backed content is produced on time, on brand and within budget. 
    • Conduct research and analysis to understand audience preferences, behavior, and motivations. 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content is consistent with brand messaging and tone, driving our unique value proposition. 
    • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to improve the impact of content across channels. 
    • Continuously test and optimize content to improve performance and engagement. 
    • Manage the content production calendar and ensure deadlines are met
    • Edit and proofread writing of team members
    • Provide constructive feedback to improve the writing skills of the team
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of professional, high-output direct response experience, brand building content experience, or in-house or as a freelance copywriter experience 
    • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Creative Writing, Screenwriting, Marketing, or Communication, or equivalent experience (preferred)
    • Strong experience in traditional and digital marketing channels, content marketing and distribution platforms, and consumer analytics
    • Strong understanding of consumer psychology and direct response copywriting techniques
    • Proven understanding of the difference between brand and marketing and the value of each.
    • Proven experience across owned, paid and earned (influencer) media channels
    • Proven track record of creating content that drives engagement and conversions
    • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
    • Experience with A/B testing and data analysis to inform content decisions
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
    • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
    • Eagerness to continuously learn about consumer psychology and high-performing copywriting techniques
    • Related experience in health & wellness or CPG marketing (preferred).

    Additional Information

    • Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 DOE
