About the Role:
The Learning Experience – Riverton is looking for a passionate and nurturing Preschool (Infant- Toddler age group) Teacher to join our growing team in Riverton, NJ! This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners during their most formative years in a supportive, fun, and engaging environment.
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate, curriculum-based lesson plans for preschool-aged children
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and growth
Monitor and document children's developmental milestones and progress
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's daily activities and development
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom in compliance with licensing and health standards
Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support whole-child development
Incorporate social-emotional learning, early literacy, and STEM activities into daily routines
Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
Prior experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or classroom setting
Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
Ability to pass a background check in accordance with state licensing requirements
Warm, energetic, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children
