Your Role as a Teacher:

At The Goddard School in Charlestown, co-teaching teams coordinate daily class operations, plan and evaluate engaging activities, and communicate with families—creating a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

Required Qualifications:

Certified by MA EEC for Infant/Toddler

1+ year experience in a licensed childcare center

Meet all MA EEC background check and fingerprinting requirements

Knowledge of child safety and first-aid protocols

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Reliable, team-oriented, and flexible

Physically able to lift 50 lbs and move safely around the classroom

Comfortable working any required 9-hour shift between 7AM–6PM (1 hour break)

Attend monthly staff meetings (typically Tuesday, 6–8PM during holiday weeks)

Able to hear, see, speak, and move effectively in a childcare environment

Capable of responding to emergencies and handling crisis situations involving children
