About the Role:

Lasting Impressions Child Development Center in Clarksburg, WV is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Infant/Mobile Infant Assistant Teacher to join our team! In this rewarding role, you'll help nurture the earliest stages of childhood development in a warm, supportive environment. Responsibilities:

Assist in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants and mobile infants

Support daily caregiving routines including feeding, diapering, and nap schedules

Engage infants in age-appropriate sensory and developmental activities

Observe and document infant development milestones and daily progress

Communicate openly and professionally with parents and guardians regarding their child's daily care

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment in compliance with licensing standards

Collaborate with lead teachers to implement developmentally appropriate curriculum

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required; early childhood education coursework preferred

Prior experience working with infants or toddlers in a childcare or educational setting is a plus

Knowledge of infant development, safe sleep practices, and basic health and safety guidelines

Ability to obtain or maintain current CPR and First Aid certification

Must meet WV childcare licensing background check requirements

Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children

Strong communication and teamwork skills
