Baldwin Academy is a structured, academically-focused preschool in Pacific Beach seeking a dependable and nurturing Infant Teacher or Teacher aide for our Bluebirds program (children under 1).

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with infants and understands the importance of calm, attentive care in a professional preschool environment.

Position Options: • Morning Shift: 8:30am–1:30pm OR • Full-Time: 8:00am–5:00pm (with lunch break)

Responsibilities include: • Diapering and feeding routines • Floor-level interaction and developmental play • Maintaining a warm, calm classroom tone • Following individual schedules • Supporting safe transitions and supervision • Light cleaning related to classroom care

We are seeking someone who: • Is reliable and punctual • Is comfortable working at floor level and staying physically active • Maintains a professional appearance and hygiene • Communicates respectfully with children and team members • Values structure, consistency, and teamwork • Is seeking long-term stability in early childhood education

Compensation: $18.50–$20 per hour for qualified assistants (based on experience) Higher range available for fully qualified Infant Teachers
