    Duties

    Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development for infants.

    Provide attentive care, including feeding, diapering, nap time, and hygiene routines

    Monitor children closely to ensure safety at all times, adhering to strict supervision standards

    Use positive behavior management techniques to encourage good social skills and emotional regulation

    Maintain accurate records of daily activities, developmental milestones, and health updates in compliance with childcare regulations

    Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about their child's progress, needs, and any concerns

    Follow all mandated reporting laws to report any signs of neglect or abuse promptly and appropriately

    Experience

    Prior classroom experience working with infants in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred

    Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices

    Experience with classroom management strategies tailored for young children

    Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR (First Aid) is required; additional training in special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus

    Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child safety protocols

    Hands-on experience caring for children through nannying or babysitting roles is valuable

    Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children, parents, and team members in a nurturing environment
