About the Role:

Sacramento Montessori is looking for a passionate and nurturing Infant Teacher to join our dedicated early childhood education team in Sacramento, CA. Responsibilities:

Provide attentive, loving care and supervision for infants in a safe and stimulating classroom environment

Implement age-appropriate Montessori-inspired activities to support cognitive, social, and physical development

Maintain accurate daily logs including feeding, sleeping, and developmental milestones

Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress

Ensure classroom cleanliness, safety, and compliance with state childcare regulations

Collaborate with lead teachers and staff to create a cohesive, nurturing learning community

Support diapering, feeding, and soothing routines with patience and professionalism

Requirements:

Minimum 6 units in Early Childhood Education (ECE), infant/toddler units preferred

Prior experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or preschool setting

Knowledge of or interest in Montessori philosophy and child-led learning

Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Must pass a background check and meet California Community Care Licensing requirements

Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine love for working with infants

Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with families
