    About the Role:

    Sacramento Montessori is looking for a passionate and nurturing Infant Teacher to join our dedicated early childhood education team in Sacramento, CA. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact during the most critical stage of a child's development in a warm, child-centered environment.

    Responsibilities:

    Provide attentive, loving care and supervision for infants in a safe and stimulating classroom environment

    Implement age-appropriate Montessori-inspired activities to support cognitive, social, and physical development

    Maintain accurate daily logs including feeding, sleeping, and developmental observations

    Communicate openly and regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and daily activities

    Ensure classroom cleanliness, safety, and compliance with licensing regulations

    Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a cohesive, nurturing learning community

    Support each infant's individual developmental milestones and unique needs

    Requirements:

    Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or preschool setting

    Knowledge of or interest in Montessori philosophy and infant development

    Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

    Must meet California Community Care Licensing requirements

    Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children

    Strong communication and teamwork skills

    12 ECE units, 3 infant toddler units
