    About the Role:

    Sacramento Montessori is looking for a passionate and nurturing Infant Teacher to join our dedicated early childhood education team in Sacramento, CA. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact during the most formative stage of a child's development in a warm, child-centered environment.

    Responsibilities:

    Provide attentive, loving care and supervision for infants in a safe and nurturing classroom environment

    Implement age-appropriate Montessori-inspired activities that support infant development and sensory exploration

    Monitor and document each infant's developmental milestones, behaviors, and daily routines

    Maintain open, consistent communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and daily activities

    Ensure classroom cleanliness, safety, and adherence to health and sanitation standards

    Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a cohesive, supportive learning community

    Follow all licensing regulations and childcare compliance requirements

    Requirements:

    Minimum 6 units in Early Childhood Education (ECE), infant/toddler units

    Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or preschool setting

    Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain

    Must meet California Community Care Licensing background check requirements

    Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for infant care

    Strong communication and teamwork skills
