    Infant Teacher – Nurture, Inspire, Grow

    The Goddard School in Happy Valley, Oregon is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team! At our School, we put our teachers first—because they put our children first.     No Nights or Weekends! School Hours: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

    Your Role as an Infant Teacher

    Responsive Care & Development

    Provide attentive, nurturing care to infants, meeting their individual needs

    Foster secure attachments through consistent and responsive interactions

    Support developmental milestones through sensory-rich, age-appropriate activities

    Maintain detailed daily records of feeding, sleeping, and developmental progress

    Safe & Engaging Environment

    Create a calm, clean, and stimulating classroom designed for infants

    Ensure all health, safety, and sanitation standards are consistently met

    Supervise infants closely during all activities, including tummy time, feeding, and rest

    Family Communication

    Build trusting relationships with families through open, daily communication

    Share updates on each child’s day, progress, and developmental achievements

    Partner with parents to support each child’s unique routine and needs

    Team Collaboration

    Work closely with co-teachers and leadership to maintain a supportive classroom

    Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development

    Qualifications

    High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education preferred

    Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred

    Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting preferred

    Completion of state-required pre-service training

    Strong communication skills with families and team members

    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and actively engage in infant care routines
