    Job Summary

    As an Infant/Toddler Teacher at AppleTree Academy, you’ll help care for the little ones. You’ll provide a safe and loving environment that nurtures the social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development of each child.

    Responsibilities

    Develop lesson plans and learning goals with the Co-teacher

    Maintain daily records, track student progress and intervene to help students progress as necessary

    Foster a positive and collaborative learning environment where the unique needs of all students are met

    Arrange educational activities inside/outside of the classroom and supervise the students during breaks and mealtime

    Regularly communicate with family members and other staff in order to meet the individual needs of each student

    Ensure that the classroom environment meets standards for safety and cleanliness

    Qualifications

    Previous experience in a preschool environment

    Strong verbal communicator with an upbeat personality who is comfortable and excels with speaking to parents

    Energetic, nurturing, positive, child-friendly personality

    Shows initiative; strong work ethic

    High school diploma
