Early Childcare Teacher – Job Description

We are seeking a loving, energetic, and reliable Toddler Teacher to join our team! The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood development, works well with others, and creates a nurturing and engaging environment for toddlers to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional care and supervision to toddlers in a safe, loving, and supportive environment

Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development

Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes exploration and creativity

Maintain excellent communication with parents, providing updates on their child’s progress and daily experiences

Collaborate with other teachers and staff as a team player to ensure a smooth-running classroom and program

Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and meets all safety and licensing standards

Model respectful, kind, and developmentally appropriate behavior

Remain flexible, dependable, and committed to the needs of the children and the center

Qualifications:

Previous experience working with toddlers in a childcare or early education setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to lift, bend, sit on the floor, and actively engage with young children

CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Background check and state-required clearances
