About the Role:

Magical Star Preschool in Phoenix, AZ is looking for a warm, nurturing Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our growing team! Responsibilities:

Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers

Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development

Monitor and document each child's developmental milestones and daily progress

Maintain open, consistent communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's growth and daily activities

Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols, including diapering, feeding, and nap routines

Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a positive classroom culture

Ensure compliance with Arizona childcare licensing regulations and center policies

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required; Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or ECE coursework preferred

Previous experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare or preschool setting

Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) for ages 0–3

Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain

Must pass a background check in accordance with Arizona DHS requirements

Patient, compassionate, and reliable with strong communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
