We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our Infant & Toddler educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. This role involves educating and caring for preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being while promoting a love for learning.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.

Educate students in various subjects including language, math, science, and social skills through play-based learning activities.

Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that accommodates the diverse needs of all students, including those with disabilities.

Provide infant care as needed, ensuring proper hygiene and comfort for the youngest learners.

Monitor and assess each child's progress in their development and learning milestones.

Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to create a supportive community.

Maintain a clean and organized classroom that promotes exploration and creativity.

Administer first aid when necessary and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience through teamwork and shared resources.

Qualifications

45/90 Hour Maryland Certification required

Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or educational setting.

Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.

Strong caregiving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a classroom setting.

Certification in First Aid/CPR is preferred or willingness to obtain certification upon hiring.

Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
