About the Role:

Anchor Point Early Learning Academy in East Greenwich, RI is looking for a passionate and nurturing Infant Teacher to join our growing team! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the most critical stage of a child's development. Responsibilities:

Provide attentive, loving daily care for infants, including feeding, diapering, and soothing

Implement age-appropriate sensory and developmental activities for infants

Monitor and document each infant's developmental milestones and daily progress

Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating classroom environment

Communicate openly and regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's day and development

Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations in accordance with Rhode Island childcare standards

Collaborate with lead teachers and staff to support a consistent, nurturing curriculum

Requirements:

Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or early learning setting preferred

Knowledge of infant development, best practices, and age-appropriate activities

CDA credential, Early Childhood Education coursework, or equivalent experience a plus

Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Ability to pass a background check in compliance with Rhode Island childcare regulations

Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for infant care

Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with families
