We are looking for a warm, dependable Infant/Toddler Teacher who enjoys caring for our youngest learners and understands that safety, routines, and emotional connection matter.
Experience Needed
This role is best for someone who has already worked in a licensed childcare, preschool, daycare, or early learning setting with infants and/or toddlers. Because this classroom requires strong safety habits and confidence with daily care routines, prior infant/toddler experience is required.
What You’ll Do You will help care for infants and toddlers through consistent, loving, hands-on care.
Responsibilities include:
Daily Care - Feeding, diapering/toileting, nap supervision, and transitions
Safety - Active supervision, eyes-on awareness, and anticipating risks before they happen
Classroom Care - Maintaining clean, sanitary classroom routines including bottles, food, toys, and diapering areas
Child Support - Comforting children with calm, steady, nurturing responses
Learning Activities - Supporting music, sensory play, language development, and fine/gross motor activities
Family Communication - Keeping daily notes accurate for meals, naps, diapers, mood, and needs
Teamwork -Helping support classroom ratios and working respectfully with the team

Requirements
Prior infant and/or toddler childcare experience required
Must meet Virginia childcare employment requirements, including background checks
CPR/First Aid preferred, or willingness to obtain
Ability to follow health, safety, supervision, and sanitation procedures every day
