Location: Windward Gardens, Camden, ME 04843
Schedule: Full-time | 40 hours/week | Mon–Fri | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (30-min break)
Assignment Duration: ASAP for 13 weeks
Pay Rate: $61.38/hr

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Infection Prevention Specialist to support and lead infection control efforts at our Camden, ME facility. This is a 13-week contract position ideal for experienced healthcare professionals passionate about patient safety and public health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor infection control policies

• Conduct staff training and education on infection prevention

• Perform surveillance and reporting in accordance with state and federal regulations

• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and administrative teams to ensure best practices

Requirements:

• RN license or clinical background with strong infection prevention experience

• Certification in Infection Control (CIC) preferred

• Strong understanding of CDC, OSHA, and CMS infection control guidelines

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
