Job Description

This individual will develop environments and animations related primarily to the aviation industry. Products will allow users to experience real work situations within the scope of the 3D and virtual reality software. A successful candidate must have the ability to work independently and with teams in creating cutting edge solutions.

This position is onsite in McLean, VA, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all positions are temporarily remote. Once we return to work the candidate will be required to work from McLean, VA.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform modeling and animation as directed
• Develop, test, and execute environments, simulations, and games in 3D, VR, and AR
• Interpret project requirements to develop solutions that meet the project goals and deliver on time
• Work with others both inside and outside the company with integrity and professionalism
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Game Art, Design, Development, Simulation and Visualization Development or related field
• At least eight (8) years of professional design experience
• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in 3DS Max, Unity Real-Time Development Platform, and/or related modeling and animation software
• Experience developing programs or games with Oculus, Microsoft HoloLens, and other related hardware is a plus
• Knowledge of MeshLab, SideQuest, or related software is a plus
