PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:   JOB SUMMARY  -Place \ process custom IT orders -Pull parts for technicians -Receiving into SAP -Taking Inventory -Moving and maintaining inventory stockrooms

REQUIRED: -Computer skills -Proficient at using the internet to locate custom parts -Customer Service skills - ability to work with many different people within a day -Organized -Ability to work under stress and interruptions -Ability to lift up to 50 pounds -Ability to use a pallet jack to move inventory in a stockroom around -Time Management - Ability to prioritize with ever-changing needs -Hours of operation - 7-4pm M-F -Ability to work with minimal supervision -Prior finance or accounting background is a plus -Prior experience with SAP and ordering system a plus

It is more than just a buyer position, it is also about inventory management, issuing parts, and being able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Most of the candidates I have interviewed for previous positions like this seem to be looking for a desk job or lacking the personality\ability to work with others. I think maybe we focus less on experience but more on willingness to learn and outgoing personality. This might be a good opportunity for a recent college graduate.  

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor’s degree preferred. • Minimum 2 - 5 – years’ experience in an inventory/logistics/ stockroom
