ABOUT THIS ROLE:

Infinitive is growing its team in the Northern Virginia area and is currently seeking an DevOps Developer to join our growing Technology practice. This person will utilize their knowledge of the latest trends in the DevOps industry to provide client support in AWS Cloud environments. The person will also assemble and integrate cloud operating platforms using open source, partner tools, and best practices.

We are looking for candidates who are accountable, passionate, assertive, proactive, open & honest, results oriented, and adaptable. Each project engagement represents a new challenge that will give you exposure to new clients, business issues, technologies, and people and will involve a range of responsibilities to include:

• Configure AWS Cloud environments following best practices.
• Knowledge of AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodeDeploy.
• Prior experience using DevOps tools; Chef, Puppet, Ansible,Jenkins or similar.
• Assemble and integrate cloud operating platforms using open source & partner tools.
• Integrate infrastructure builds with continuous code deployment processes.
• Build automated deployments using configuration management playbooks and recipes.
• Ensure the performance, reliability, security and ease of maintenance for deployments.
• Measure success through the hand-over and successful adoption of solutions.
• Develop in Java, .Net, Python, R

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Desire to become certified in AWS / Azure
• Programming knowledge required (multiple platforms/languages)
• Knowledge of enterprise data integration techniques such as data fabrics
• Experience in DevOps environment
• Experience with all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile methods
• Interest in being involved internally and growing a small business (entrepreneurial spirit)
• Ability to travel as needed and to work independently
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Excellent leadership, peer management, and communication skills
• Management consulting experience (preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in related field
