    Job Description

    Infinity Energy is currently seeking a QUALITY ASSURANCE LEAD to help develop the Service Department and deliver the best possible customer experience post-installation. The right QUALITY ASSURANCE LEAD is someone who has extensive solar experience and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction. The right candidate will be a detail-oriented person, who is also great at managing relationships, and making sure all parties of the solar ecosystem feel respected, heard, and valued.

    QUALITY ASSURANCE LEAD RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Inspect PV and Energy Storage installations to ensure they are NEC code compliant and comply with infinity's SOP's
    • Review and go over findings with operation management and crew leads
    • Assist with creating and modifying New and existing SOP's
    • Provide onsite field trainings for current and new upcoming products
    • Quality Assurance 60% and field trainer 40%
    • Troubleshoot, maintain, service, and repair residential solar systems and associated equipment to ensure 100% customer satisfaction AS NEEDED
    • Perform remote on site customer services, including installing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repairing of residential solar systems and related equipment AS NEEDED
    • Additional duties AS NEEDED

    EDUCATIONAL, PROFESSIONAL AND/OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS FOR QUALITY ASSURANCE LEAD INCLUDE:

    • 3+ years of experience in solar field operations (installations/service).
    • Must be willing to travel to areas that may need training
    • Good communication skills
    • Comfortable speaking to groups of installers
    • Knowledge of Battery storage system wiring, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning
    • Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
    • Flexibility to shifting priorities and changing environments.
    • Motivated, responsible, accountable, and punctual are must have traits.
    • Ability to work at heights and rooftops.
    • Ability to lift and move objects up to 70lbs.
    • Clean driving record.
    • Good communication skills, use of standard work-related PC programs.
    • Ability to innovate and improve operations and solve complex problems.
    • High integrity and energy a must!

    QUALITY ASSURANCE LEAD DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Prior Residential Solar service experience.
    • Experience maintaining and servicing solar monitoring systems (i.e. SunPower Monitoring, Locus, Itron, Elster, Enphase, and other various remote monitoring solutions).
    • Experience maintaining and servicing solar inverters/micro-inverters (i.e. SMA, PowerOne, Fronius, Aurora, LG, Enphase, SolarEdge).
