    Reporting to the AP Supervisor, the AP coordinator will be responsible for ensuring vendor transactions are complete and accurate within the accounting system, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and continuously developing and enhancing processes.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Inputs vendor invoices into NetSuite and consistently monitors A/P email; must be able to organize emails and provide timely responses with pertinent information
    • Posts various expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense for correct coding
    • Pays vendors by monitoring due dates; verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos
    • Issues checks within established deadlines; issue ACH payments and properly record transaction types
    • Set-up and maintain memorized transactions; create internal checklist to confirm timely payments for rent and utilities for multiple locations
    • Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
    • Reviews current processes for improvements and brings forward suggestions for manager review and input.
    • Manages A/P for multiple entities; establish procedures for new entities
    • Maintains historical records by scanning and filing documents weekly
    • Completes A/P organizational projects as assigned.
    • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
    • Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • 2+ years of A/P experience
    • Experienced with Microsoft Suite
    • Experience working in a fast-paced environment; must be adaptable to consistent change.
    • Attention to detail and highly organized.
    • Team player, positive attitude, and good communication skills.
