We're seeking an experienced, sharp Drupal developer to join our team to help develop websites and web apps for mission-focused organizations like museums, universities, nonprofits, and cities. This position is primarily focused on full-stack Drupal development, but we recognize that some candidates may have a stronger focus in front-end or back-end.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work as part of a project team that typically includes a technical project manager, developers, designers, and quality assurance specialist to build responsive websites and web applications.
Help to plan, design, and create websites using open -source web content management systems like Drupal and WordPress.
Although we have a primary office in LA, we’re also a partially distributed team. If you feel comfortable using tools like Slack, Zoom (web conferencing), and case tracking, you’ll fit right in.
Write clear, concise documentation and case updates.
QUALIFICATIONS
· 3+ YEARS’ EXPERIENCE WITH DRUPAL 7 AND 8.
· 3+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH PHP AND MYSQL.
· 5+ YEARS OF WEB DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE.
· EXPERIENCE WITH JAVASCRIPT.
· EXPERIENCE WITH BOOTSTRAP, HTML, CSS.
· STRONG EXPERIENCE WITH GIT.
· GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF MOBILE-FIRST DESIGN.
· EXPERIENCE WITH GATSBY/REACT OR OTHER JAVASCRIPT FRAMEWORKS IS A PLUS.
· EXPERIENCE WITH REST/JSON API DEVELOPMENT AND CONNECTIVITY IS A PLUS.
· Bachelor’s degree, any field.
· You’ve worked successfully as part of a team.
· If you prefer to work remotely, you must be physically in the US, and you must have experience working remotely.
