JOB TITLE: TAX ENROLLED AGENT (EA)
LOCATION: IRVINE, CA
BASE SALARY: UP TO $65K
PLEASE NOTE: MUST BE A LICENSED ENROLLED AGENT TO BE CONSIDERED
NO RELOCATION. MUST BE LOCAL TO IRVINE.
WE ARE A FAST-GROWING TAX RELIEF FIRM LOCATED IN IRVINE THAT AIMS TO HELP INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES, AND COMPANIES TAKE CONTROL OF THEIR TAX DEBT. WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN ENROLLED AGENT TO START WORKING ASAP TO ASSIST US IN THE DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS FOR EXPANDING OUR TAX RELIEF FIRM. WE WANT YOU TO GROW WITH US AND ENJOY THE JOURNEY TO SUCCESS!
AS AN ENROLLED AGENT YOU WILL BE IN CHARGE OF ESTABLISHING CONTACT WITH TAX AGENCIES AND UPDATING FILES ACCORDINGLY. YOU WILL BE EXPECTED TO COMMUNICATE REALISTIC TIMELINES AND INTERACT WITH SENIOR TAX NEGOTIATOR AND SALES STAFF ON A DAILY BASIS WITH CASE UPDATES. THIS WILL BE A DEMANDING POSITION AND EXCEPTIONAL TIME MANAGEMENT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS WILL BE ESSENTIAL.
ENROLLED AGENT WILL BE EXPECTED TO PERFORM THE FOLLOWING:
Correspondence with IRS/State authorities by phone, email and/or fax (Compliance Calls).
File IRS Tax Programs (OIC, CNC, Installment agreements, Non-Collectable, Innocent Spouse, etc.) Must be able to fight for client to get the best resolution for their back taxes.
Remove Garnishments, IRS Levy or federal tax liens.
Interact with Management/Sales in a professional and timely manner.
Provide Direction to Case Managers to keep Resolutions moving forward.
Prioritize case load and Manage assigned Client Pipeline
ENROLLED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensed Enrolled Agent.
Existing CAF number.
Enrolled agents must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in offer in compromise, releasing levies, liens, and garnishments. Basic knowledge of state tax regulations is preferred. The ideal candidate will be organized and have the ability to handle a steady volume of casework.
