Job Description
The Social Media Marketing Specialist supports a cross-functional marketing team in the North American region on campaign planning, content curation, and strategy across social media platforms. Reporting to the Head of Marketing—North America, this role will contribute to the initiatives that drive brand awareness in key verticals and segments.
We're looking for someone who can connect strategic marketing plans with unique and engaging content for social. You’ll coordinate with in-region marketing and growth teams as well as our HQ brand marketing and communications teams based overseas. The right candidate is curious, organized, data-driven, and highly collaborative.
- Builds and implements the regional social content strategy and manages the scheduling calendar
- Leads the regional employee social advocacy program
- Aligns social strategy to regional marketing objectives and integrated campaigns
- Coordinates and supports the activation of global brand campaigns and social initiatives in North America
- Collaborates regularly with integrated marketing managers, PR/comms experts, content writers, creative designers and event marketing managers
- Increases brand visibility and generates web traffic through social promotion and distribution
- Identifies new opportunities to repurpose and stretch content across social channels
- Coordinates with the growth team to ensure social campaigns are set to track properly
- Coordinates social amplification and targeted audience with the media team
- Crafts briefs and works with external vendors on content and creative production
- Identifies emerging trends, new technology and opportunities for growth
- Monitors performance, analyzes data, uses optimization strategies for continual improvement
