    Job Description

    The Exhibitor ACCOUNT MANAGER’S main role is managing and selling exhibition space, mostly working with Retailers as well as Creators/Artisans for the Artist Alley area of the events. A couple of key focuses with be to ensure our customers have a great experience and more importantly, we help set them up for success so that they will be with us for many years to come.

    Candidates must be highly proactive and have a creative approach when developing sales strategies and pipelines, while delivering on regular assigned projects. This position requires an individual that understands the pop culture industry and fans.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Follow up in a timely manner on all applications and leads
    • Provide weekly reports and support the sales leader with analysis of current sales and future pipeline against budget targets
    • Identify future market opportunities and understand customer needs to define product vision and strategy
    • Maintain and nurture relationships with our current and future exhibitors through timely and consistent communication and excellent customer service
    • Identify and implement optimal solutions to the exhibitors’ concerns regarding the show/event
    • Work closely with the administrative, marketing, operations and accounting teams to assist event operations where needed
    • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure effective exhibitor promotion campaign
    • Ensure that the exhibitor and sponsor information and details are updated in order to be effectively used in marketing campaigns
    • Act as the liaison between customers and other Informa departments to provide an outstanding customer experience
    • Provide on-site management and support to customers/clients/other staff members during events 
    • Continuously monitor and research the market trends
    • Identify and attend competitive events where appropriate
    • Perform any other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Experience in working in the pop-culture industry 
    • Three or more years of relevant business experience preferred
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in-person and electronically
    • High level of computer systems comprehension, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
    • Ability to quickly learn and utilize sales data systems (Salesforce knowledge would be an asset)
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills
    • Strong organizational skills and proven versatility in time management and prioritization of tasks
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
    • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
    • College degree in business/marketing or related area, or equivalent business experience required
