    Job Description

    We're seeking a dynamic Sales Development Executive to bolster the HIMSS Global Conference and Exhibition. This role focuses on identifying, developing, and tracking new business opportunities. You'll conduct research to find potential clients, generate leads, and support our sales team in nurturing relationships with prospects. Additionally, you'll analyze data to refine our lead generation strategies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Research and identify potential leads through online research, competitive intelligence, social media, and market surveys.
    • Contact and qualify leads via phone calls, emails, and other communication channels.
    • Maintain a database of leads and prospects for future reference.
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to devise effective lead generation strategies.
    • Analyze lead generation metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
    • Set up new accounts in Salesforce, managing company information, leads, contacts, and opportunities.
    • Perform financial reconciliation with Map Your Show and Salesforce, producing accurate reports for strategic sales planning.
    • Utilize Salesforce.com extensively, creating reports and dashboards to track pipeline, leads, and sales performance.
    • Ensure data accuracy in Salesforce and Map Your Show through regular updates.
    • Organize workload efficiently and provide clear project status updates to management.
    • Assist Sales Operations Lead with tracking Global Conference sponsorships using Envision and Salesforce.
    • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in lead generation.
    • Manage multiple tasks and projects, prioritizing deadlines effectively.

    This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a sales-related field, or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience, with preference for sales support and proficiency in Salesforce.com.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to deliver accurate results in complex environments.
    • Critical thinking ability to assess and solve problems effectively.
    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a customer-focused and self-confident demeanor.
    • Superior strategic and tactical planning abilities.
    • Proven ability to cultivate collaborative relationships.
    • Background or familiarity with information systems and technology is advantageous.
    • Capable of remote work with accountability, self-discipline, and strong organizational skills.

    Further Information:

    • Competitive salary range between $55,000 - $65,000 USD.
