    What we’re looking for:

    As a crucial member of the show management team for The Battery Show, You will be responsible for executing tactics directly related to a successful live or virtual event. You have high organizational skills, an eye for detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, and are passionate about delivering excellence for Informa Markets Engineering customers.

    Role Accountability and Duties :

    • Lead live and digital event delivery across portfolio
    • In conjunction with group director, create and implement strategic plans to achieve all assigned in-person and digital KPIs
    • Act as primary liaison with operations teams
    • Assist in the development and daily maintenance of event plans, marketing plan, communication plan and production schedule, verifying that deadlines are adhered to
    • Collaborate with marketing, sales, operations and all other key internal stakeholders to ensure successful planning and execution
    • Acquire, analyze, and interpret market data understanding the key trends and motivations of potential customers
    • Contribute to the development of annual budgets and accurate forecasts, ensuring that revenue goals are met and expenses do not exceed budget
    • In conjunction with business development/sales team, operations and marketing; ensure appropriate support materials are in place while helping create sales and marketing collateral
    • Develop strong relationship with key customer groups, managing all relevant issues
    • With direction from the Group Event Director manage and oversee the overall communication regarding operations with clients, ensuring that all communication is clear, concise, and consistent with show strategy
    • Work hand in hand with operations on all pre, at, and post show activity and logistics with keen knowledge of all core show programs and activities.
    • Ability to analyze processes and bring greater organization and efficiency to all execution across assigned brands
    • Serve as member of the Show Team and one of the main contacts pre, during event, and post trading, working with show staff, vendors, facilities, and other service providers as needed while maintaining high quality service company and customers.
    • Work with team and central resources to organize and execute the overall logistics for in-person, virtual and hybrid events. Partner with internal operations to implement best practices surrounding effective show management
    • Function as integral part of show management effort, performing additional duties as required
    • Travel, as required
    • Other duties as assigned

    What you bring to the team :

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
    • Five years operational/marketing/conference/event management with strong working knowledge of in-person and virtual event space
    • Strategic thinker who can see the big picture, support development and management of budgets, strategic docs, and production schedules, with ability to effectively communicate the processes associated with them
    • Previous management experience preferred
    • High level of proficiency in the use key software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and a CRM
    • Project-oriented with superior attention to detail and outstanding organizational and prioritization skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong team player who can motivate and inspire team members. Also interacts well with external clients, vendors, and other internal teams, alike

    The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 depending on experience.
