    Job Description

    Reporting into the Group Sales Director for North American Medical Aesthetic, the Sales Manager will be responsible for selling print and digital advertising and sponsorships for our established publications and digital platforms, The Aesthetic Guide, The Aesthetic Guide Online and the Aesthetic Multispecialty Society. This role will be responsible for growing existing accounts, as well as prospecting new leads for additional sales while providing exceptional customer service and follow through. 

    YOU ARE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

    • Selling print and digital advertising and sponsorships via phone, email communications and face-to face-meetings
    • Creating innovative and profitable customer solutions
    • Prospect, generate and seek new business opportunities inside and outside of existing client base through cold calling, follow-up calling and attendance at industry related events
    • Deliver business development strategy, working with other departments, to target new market sectors and regions
    • Utilize consultative selling methods to prospective and existing customers by offering new opportunities
    • Develop Sales plans, inclusive of pricing strategies, and approaches to grow existing customer account through cross-and up- selling
    • Leverage understanding of customer buying trends to help develop Sales plans and approaches 
    • Develop and present plan to GSD to achieve goals
    • Research market players and trends, and continually build industry specific knowledge, including attending competitor events, analyzing customer data, sharing experiences across the team
    • Develop strong relationships with customers
    • Managing and following internal protocol and delivery processes, including maintaining current and accurate records, sales communication, delivery and invoicing processes.
    • Provide exceptional customer service, project management and oversight to ensure high level customer delivery
    • Accurate forecasting and reporting
    • Function as an integral part of overall digital and publication management effort in performing additional duties as required.
    • Travel as required to trade shows and/or to visit with clients as needed.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Education:  Bachelors Degree
    • Experience:  Minimum 5 years in publishing and digital sales
    • General Skills:  A professional and persuasive communicator with exceptional sales, relationship building and customer service skills.
    • Exceptional closing skills
    • Self-motivated and driven
    • Team player
    • Ability to multi-task
