    Job Description

    Informa Markets’ New Hope Network is looking for a Vice President of Commercial Strategy and Execution. This leadership role will lead the business in using sales, marketing, event, content engagement, and other data to inform strategy and execution and evaluate opportunities and risks in real time for the New Hope group, which serves the natural, organic, and conscious products industry. The role will work closely with New Hope’s commercial and market lead, finance, sales, marketing, event operations, content, and other Informa Markets North America leadership to help establish and manage toward KPIs and prepare budgets and business updates for senior Informa leadership.

    This role reports to the New Hope SVP and Market Leader

    ** Role Responsibilities and Duties:**

    As a key stakeholder on the New Hope Network leadership team, this role will:

    • Use sales, marketing, event, content engagement, and other data to inform business strategy and execution plans and evaluate opportunities and risks in real time

    • Lead the creation of actionable data dashboards and reports for the leadership team and to support day-to-day decision making and execution planning

    • Help the business establish and manage toward KPIs across functions and departments

    • Identify commercial and execution challenges in achieving KPIs, developing paths forward in partnership with commercial and central stakeholders

    • Prepare case studies, budgets, and business updates for senior Informa leadership

    • Support day-to-day business integration and continuous improvement efforts across sales, marketing, finance, event operations, and content
      Work with internal and external experts and solutions providers to enable the business to understand and stay close to customer and buyer needs

    • Lead change management initiatives and implementation in partnership with stakeholders

    • Create process and procedure documentation that is translatable and transferable to commercial teams and central stakeholders

    • Anticipate bottlenecks for new initiatives and balance business objectives and needs versus technical and operational constraints to enable successful adjudication between internal stakeholder groups and partners to resolve issues

    • Lead key strategic projects for the business, including M&A-related projects and the creation of new business cases

    • Strong commercial orientation, working with people & processes that align with our commercial strategy
    • Ability to lead and conduct analysis and research leading to data-driven recommendations that maximize ROI, improve efficiency, and unearth emerging opportunities and risk
    • Ability to influence outcomes specifically beyond the hierarchy of the role, through superior listening, curiosity, and a “win for all” approach
    • Strong business acumen and analytical skills with the ability to construct and evaluate approach to solutions to maximize ROI
    • Broad experience executing strategic plans across different business functions
    • Effective, succinct, and confident communication skills and a demonstrated ability to build rapport with a wide range of people at all levels
    • Ability to be able to inspire others to action and help them prioritize initiatives
    • An ability to listen, investigate, and collaborate on solutions
    • Stellar project management skills
    • Experience supporting process improvement, business integration, and continuous improvement initiatives for sales, sales operations, marketing, customer service organizations preferred
    • Proven ability to confidentially handle sensitive information professionally and thoughtfully
