Job Description
The Housing Manager will be responsible for acting as liaison between the hotel and Informa trade show team and manage the event planning and execution of the hotel room block. The successful candidate will determine the overall event housing strategy and manage the assigned room block inventory within a Reservation System to maximize hotel bookings. The Housing Manager will build the event in the Reservation System, conduct Quality Assurance prior to going LIVE, assist guest bookings as needed, assign staff reservations, and ensures compliance with contract terms by hotels. This position is focused on total account management concentrating on room block growth, client interaction with our hotel partners, Attendees, Exhibitors, and internal show team communication. You are always attuned with hotel industry trends and market conditions for an optimal and profitable event accommodations program, driving value for Informa and for our Attendees.
RESPONSIBILITIES The Housing Manager will focus on room block management for their assigned show/events. They will work directly with their event Hotel Contracting Manager and show teams to develop and implement the housing strategy while utilizing his/her hotel expertise.
