  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    ACCOUNTABLE TO:

    ·         Manage and own sales admin function for Nutrition Business Journal yearly issue subscription and monthly report sales.

    ·         Sales prospecting and lead qualification as required. Includes pipeline tracking and management, as well as revenue tracking and forecasting.

    ·         Assist the Nutrition Business Journal analysts and writers to follow necessary deadlines for monthly report release and various projects throughout the year.

    ·         Work with marketing to strategize marketing campaign schedules and development of collateral to drive sales.

    ·         Build ad-hoc reports for sales team members. Craft strategy around reporting implementation – including determining use case, data, and frequency.

    ·         Proof contracts and promotional material as required.

    ·         Work directly with customers as needed, including general customer service, sending purchased reports, help execute certain programs, as well as lead identification and qualification.

    ·         Support sales team and management, group admin, research projects as required.

    ·         Support New Hope’s Expo West and Expo East trade shows during key selling periods.  Support will include, but is not limited to, facilitating and assisting in the exhibitor re-sign process, booth selection, contract processing, reporting and customer service-related functions.

     

    ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    ·         Participate in and lead meetings when applicable.  If not in attendance, accountable for learning about meeting discussions and disseminating information to relevant parties.

    ·         Travel as requested to conferences, clients, vendors, Tradeshows, etc.

    ·         Provide consistent, timely reporting of projects and meet identified deadlines.

    ·         Use identified software and tools for revenue tracking, record keeping and reporting.

    ·         Responsible for following procedures, timelines & deadlines for projects as indicated.

    ·         Encourage a positive attitude at work and a “can-do” attitude.

    ·         Consistently interact with clients with the utmost professionalism and respect at all times.

    Qualifications

    SKILLS/ABILITIES:

    ·         Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.

    ·         Very detail oriented.

    ·         Ability to work independently, while thriving in a team environment.

    ·         Superior communications skills, oral and written. 

    ·         Ability to prioritize, organize multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines. 

    ·         Ability to travel – minimum twice per year to tradeshows.

    ·         Proficient in Microsoft Office.

    ·         Deadline driven

     POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

    ·         High school diploma or equivalent training required. 

    ·         2-3 years’ sales support, administrative support and/or customer service experience required. 

    ·         College degree or equivalent training and experience preferred
