    Job Description

    Working within our Informa Markets Fashion team, the Account Executive, Sponsorships will be responsible for sponsorship sales and sponsorship delivery .

    Reporting to the Sr. Director of Sponsorship, the Account Executive, Sponsorships, supports the sponsorship sales across multiple verticals, with a focus on sales and operational sponsorship delivery. This position is responsible for revenue generation through event & digital sponsorship sales across Informa Fashion brands. From participating in new product development, to implementation, to successful delivery, this role will be responsible for sponsorship sales within the fashion industry as well as non-endemic sponsorship opportunities that address our clients’ needs. This role’s success is evaluated against revenue growth, fulfilments of sold products and achievement of milestones.

    ROLE ACCOUNTABILITY AND DUTIES:

    • Receive, qualify, and assign New Lead Assignments. Process New Lead Applications and Assets.
    • Maintain accurate customer and prospect information in Salesforce, in line with internal practices and expectations. This includes active maintenance of sales pipeline opportunity stages so that the pipeline is a true and accurate indicator of prospects statuses; utilizes pipeline reports to provide sales forecasts to management.
    • Works with Sales Director and internal stakeholders to properly align sponsorships with overall event brand.
    • Penetrates all retention and new business campaigns to hit revenue goal
    • Discovers new leads for segment of business to target
    • Travel to a variety of events.
    • Collaborate with Marketing teams, Sales Teams, Experiential Teams, and Brand Teams to help generate activation concepts while gaining buy in from leadership.
    • Oversee and support all aspects of delivery of products sold, to ensure top tier delivery.
    • Support the sales teams through the sales process.
    • Maintain data management and hygiene via processes.
    • General reporting and auditing.
    • Travel as needed to events and client sites
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 1-3 years’ experience in sales, with a preferred background in engaging advertising/sponsorship agencies or through direct client contact.
    • Relationship management experience including maintaining customer connection and communication
    • Genuine interest or experience in fashion industry and events
    • Ability to ask probing questions in order to proactively handle and respond to customer support requests
    • Strong interpersonal and writing skills, high level of passion and enthusiasm for collaboration and relationship management internally and externally
    • Highly organized with superior attention to detail
    • SalesForce experience preferred
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

    • The pay range for this position is $63,750 - $75,000 depending on experience.
