As an intern in the production department, you will be assisting with the Aviation Week 2021 Photo Contest, organizing entries for the Jesse H Neal Award , conducting research for investigative projects and learning about the aviation publishing industry. 

That will involve organizing award entries, communicating with contest participants, conducting internet and database research, collaborating with colleagues, formulating questions and attending business meetings 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:

• Be used to prioritizing and working to deadlines, be organized and able to multi-task
• Show an aptitude for high volume processing
• Have excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify spelling errors
• Understand the importance of maintaining information relied on by others, ideally through experience of using a database
• Be a good communicator, both written and verbal, be able to represent the company professionally and contribute to a friendly team
• Be able to work both on your own initiative and as part of a team
• Show aptitude and enthusiasm for the aviation and publishing industries and adapt well to change
• Have basic skills in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
