Marketing Manager - Audience Acquisition (East Coast Hours)
Job Description
We’re seeking a motivated, results-oriented MARKETING MANAGER - AUDIENCE ACQUISITION. Drive awareness, ignite action, and convert target audiences for our in-person and virtual events. You’ll lead and manage the development and execution
of multi-channel audience acquisition campaigns using data-driven insight and past marketing experiences.
Stellar creativity and copywriting skills are a must for this role, as are solid project management skills. You’ll work on brand messaging, outbound campaigns, audience segmentation and journey, event website content, digital advertising, social media and more.
The MARKETING MANAGER - AUDIENCE ACQUISITION will work in close partnership with the event director, fellow marketers, sales and content/editorial teams to meet conference pass revenue goals. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience leading B2B outbound marketing campaigns with strong project management skills. The role will report to the Director of Marketing.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Qualifications
Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment while balancing strategic, tactical and analytical responsibilities.
Track record of success in meeting or exceeding goals by utilizing traditional, online and social media marketing strategies
Strong verbal/written communication and project management skills
Self-motivated with ability to manage up and across multiple teams and individuals
Experience in event, media and research marketing
Experience and comfort with data capture and analysis, database marketing and research
Ability to balance tactical executional requirements with high-level strategic thinking
Experience working with email service providers (preferably Eloqua)
Proficient in working with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook
Knowledge of and interest in the Enterprise IT and tech market preferred
BA/BS required
Some travel required
THE PAY RANGE FOR THIS POSITION IS $64,000 - $85,000 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
