We are currently seeking a Summer Intern, Marketing to join our team based in Informa’s Phoenix / San Francisco / Austin office. Our Marketing team is made up of colleagues from varying backgrounds located across the globe. As a member of the Marketing team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring consistent alignment and on-strategy execution for every campaign. In this role, you will:
Own and deliver value-adding projects in service of the Marketing team’s strategy and objectives
Understand and contribute to what encompasses a go-to-market strategy
Learn how to make data-driven decisions to guide a marketing campaign
Lead campaigns that drive brand awareness, database growth, and event registration
Harness Informa Tech’s ecosystem of corporate and market resources and expertise
Collaborate with key stakeholders to innovate and generate creative ideas
Support with ad hoc requests as needed
Provide a fresh perspective on department processes and procedures
Participate in Internship Program activities including onboarding, information sessions, and social events
Qualifications
Legally permitted to work in the United States
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program pursuing a related degree at an accredited 4-year college or university
Minimum of two years of relevant coursework completed
Minimum 3.2 cumulative collegiate grade point average, on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent
Demonstrated leadership experience through participation in on-campus activities, educational forums and/or prior work experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and possess the ability to quickly learn new software/platforms
Ability to be analytical, solve problems and recommendation viable solutions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to learn, ask questions, and collaborate with others
Ability to move quickly, keep projects on track, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
