    Job Description

    We are currently seeking an Event Registration Manager located on the east coast of the US or in the UK to join the Informa Tech Registration Operations Team.

    This role will report to and assist the Director of Registration Operations with leading registration services for events within the Informa Tech portfolio. The Registration Manager will be responsible for executing registration operations while providing continuous improvements to streamline registration processes, improve efficiency and positively influence the registration and event project life cycle.

     

    IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:  

    • Serve as registration lead for the event group (GM, sales, marketing, operations, and customer service)
    • Assist with project life cycle from start to finish, updating timelines for all events
    • Work with third party systems vendors to create work order requests and facilitate participation on show site
    • Act as a super-user, expert, and go-to resource for reporting, testing and data management of pre-event and onsite registration systems
    • Coordinate onsite event operations such as building effective and efficient registration layouts and order supplies and equipment
    • Coordinate and supervise temporary and contract employees who provide onsite support for registration operations
    • Research and document current processes, identify gaps in efficiency, make recommendations for improvement and carry out process improvements
    • Provide documentation for customer service and help to resolve customer escalations as necessary
    • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years equivalent work experience
    • 5+ years of experience with CRM’s or Registration Systems
    • Ability to effectively work within a team and independently
    • Able to review and process sensitive material with complete confidentiality
    • Capable of assessing situations and making clear decisions in a timely manner in the best interest of the organization
    • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, with proven ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
    • Ability to be analytical, solve problems and recommendation viable solutions
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, Teams
    • Ability to travel as needed; including international travel
