Summary: The Information Assurance Analyst supports the development of cyber policies, Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts, and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to ensure compliance with USAF and DoD guidance. This role facilitates the Wing’s transition to a cloud environment and strengthens its cybersecurity framework.
Responsibilities:
Advise and assist in developing Wing and local cyber policies based on USAF and DoD guidance.
Tailor existing Wing cyber policies to incorporate new guidance.
Develop an enterprise framework policy for the Wing’s IT operating environment.
Create RMF artifacts for each step of the RMF process to support Authority to Operate (ATO) approvals.
Support the development of cybersecurity policies for cloud environments.
Develop TTPs incorporating risk analysis and threat hunting.
Contribute to technical reports and deliverables as required.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of demonstrated relevant experience in Air Force Information Assurance and system accreditation, or equivalent experience with NIST security standards.
Expertise in Air Force Instruction (AFI) Series 33, Risk Management Framework (RMF), eMASS accreditation system, and all specified DISA STIGs.
Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification per DoDM 8140.03 and DAFMAN 17-1305.
U.S. citizenship and a minimum Secret security clearance.
Completion of annual training, including Cyber Awareness, Security Administration, Derivative, Unauthorized Disclosure, Anti-terrorist, OPSEC, and safety training.
Desired Skills:
Certifications such as CISM, CAP, or CRISC.
Experience with cloud security frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, DoD Cloud SRG).
Strong policy writing and documentation skills.
Knowledge of enterprise IT governance and compliance frameworks.
