Job Requirement: Security Support CONTINGENT ON CONTRACT AWARD
Position Title: Information Security Analyst (Journeyman)
Location: HQ Space Operations Command (SpOC), Peterson Space Force Base, CO
Key Responsibilities:
Special Access Program (SAP) Security Classification Guides (SCG):
Develop, review, and update Security Classification Guides (SCGs) for current and future SAP mission systems.
Analyze and evaluate SCGs based on current threats and approved Critical Program Information (CPI).
Provide recommendations for updates and changes to SCGs using the Air Force Office of Special Investigation (AFOSI)/Program Security Office (PSO) SCG template.
Security Classification Concerns:
§ Review and provide comments on security classification concerns related to SAP mission areas and Programs of Record (PoR).
§ Recommend changes to address discrepancies and ensure compliance with security policies.
Compliance and Documentation:
§ Ensure adherence to DoD directives, manuals, and policies related to SAP security, including DoDD 5205.07 and DoDM 5200.01.
§ Maintain accountability records for classified material, including transfer and destruction documentation.
Collaboration and Coordination:
§ Work closely with Program Security Officers (PSOs), government stakeholders, and other contractors to ensure proper implementation of security measures.
§ Support the development and implementation of security policies and procedures for SAP systems.
Qualifications: Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)
Education: May possess a bachelor’s degree in security management, Program Management, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience:
Minimum 3-10 years of experience in security management, SAP security, or classified program support within a government or military environment.
Familiarity with DoD security policies, including DoDD 5205.07 and DoDM 5200.01, is preferred.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and security management tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in security management or SAP security are a plus.
Preferred Attributes:
Experience with SAP security classification guides and program security management.
Knowledge of Critical Program Information (CPI) and security classification concerns.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Note: This position requires strict adherence to security protocols and may involve occasional travel to support operational requirements.
