What You’ll Do

• Support innovative, scalable technical and data-driven solutions

• Develop and test analyses to explore enterprise data from various sources, identify robust patterns, automate the extraction of relevant insights

• Improve and advance the data lifecycle of our products

• Manage data evaluation and briefings

• Evaluate the data accuracy within select areas

• Support the Chief of Staff in managing strategic internal and external projects to achieve company objectives

• Collaborate with senior executives, operations, and key stakeholders

• Help improve planning, design optimal workflows, and align internal processes

• Plan and manage team meetings including building agendas, creating material, guiding the discussion, bringing together notes and action items, and follow up as appropriate

• Lead, support, and track high priority initiatives to achieve organization-wide goals

What You Bring

• One to three years experience
• Preferred field of study: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, and/or a degree in Information Technology from an accredited institution
• Strong analytical and business process skills
• Proven technical ability through coursework and work experience to manage technical systems and analyze network, endpoint, application, and identity data for signs of malicious activity
• Self-motivated and a strong desire to achieve results and improve efficiency and effectiveness of the aim to improve SAP’s security posture, for the benefit of our customers and employees
• Demonstrated leadership qualities within campus and/or community
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Fluent in English writing and speaking mandatory, German language skills are a plus
• Self-driven person who is willing to go above and beyond
• Self-organized and able to work efficiently under pressure
• Open-minded and a strong team player
• Preferred:
  • Local to the East Coast
  • Data Science or Project Management education or experience

Join a team comprised of expert and dedicated professionals responsible for developing and overseeing SAP’s organizational security policies; monitoring security controls; facilitating internal, external, and customer security audits; and delivering compliance offerings directly to customers. Security Compliance offers a unique opportunity to view SAP as the large and complex organization that it is, giving you the ability to dive into multiple areas of interest in the course of your work, while contributing directly to continuously improving security controls and ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices. You will have a direct impact on how we safeguard SAP, its customers, reputation, assets, and interests.

We are a global organization with stakeholders from diverse security and audit functions as well as geographical and cultural areas. We employ a matrix setup, where colleagues often have dotted lines, but work well together and pull in the same direction. We are customer focused and enabling.

As a global team, we don’t require you to be in the office. The preference for this role is for an East Coast or a Midwest time zone. English fluency is required.

Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 49,600 - 112,600 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
