How will this role impact First Command?
As an Information Security Engineer, you will help protect the organization’s data, networks, and systems from cyber threats. You will support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of security controls, and monitor for suspicious activity to help detect, investigate, and respond to security events. You will partner with IT and business stakeholders to strengthen security practices, reduce risk, and support security initiatives.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field, or more than seven (7) years’ experience in a managerial role within the financial services sector in required. Candidates with non-business degrees may qualify when considerable experience related to the position is demonstrated.
At least seven (7) years of experience managing a large complex financial branch or financial operations or large-scale multi-location operation in a financial, retail, or hospitality services environment.
Proficiency in establishing and implementing consultative sales strategies and fostering a culture of exceptional service.
Demonstrated business management experience to include human resources, budgeting, critical thinking, service excellence, process management, organization, report writing, presentations, business writing, and technology utilization.
Demonstrated expertise in recruitment, team building, coaching, motivation, and talent development to foster high-performing teams.
Demonstrated experienced in community outreach and business development.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communication and conduct presentations, in a positive persuasive manner capable of engaging others.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations and solve problems and / or design recommendations to accomplish business and tactical goals.
Solid analytical skills with proven financial acumen are required. These skills must be applied to discern the viability of a strategic initiative, project, or product.
Computer proficiency with various Microsoft collaboration tools (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Microsoft TEAMS, and Outlook) is required.
