We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have an Information Security Officer opportunity with a California-chartered, full-service commercial non-member bank. This bank provides deposit and loan products, including commercial real estate, commercial and industrial, and SBA loans, as well as related banking services. The bank's targeted client base includes executives, professionals, and small-to-medium-sized businesses, primarily in the Southern California area.

The Information Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the security of an organization's computer systems and networks. The Engineer implements security measures that effectively safeguard sensitive data in the event of a cyber-attack.

Your specific duties will include:

• Recommending security requirements, access levels, and other appropriate controls and restrictions for all critical applications, networks, and servers.
• Monitoring system performance and proactively identifying and addressing potential security issues.
• Managing system updates and patches to ensure optimal system security and stability.
• Maintaining the Bank's Information Security Risk Assessment, ensuring it is updated as new products and services are implemented, new threats are detected, or at least annually.
• Maintaining and updating the FFIEC Cybersecurity Assessment Tool on an annual basis.
• Keeping up-to-date working knowledge in the field of cybersecurity, including new and emerging types of prevention and detection products.
• Developing and maintaining documentation related to Information Security policies and procedures.
• Providing reports on trends and key performance indicators related to the Bank's Information Security Programs.

Specific qualifications for the position include :

• A strong understanding of network protocols and infrastructure.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Proficiency with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Experience with Microsoft System products, including MS Office 365, SharePoint, and MS Windows Servers.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean (preferred).
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, System Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in system engineering or a related field.
• Experience in security engineering or a related field (preferred).

Pay Rate Range : $120,000 - $170,000 annually

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
