Whether you're early in your career or leading security engineering efforts, we're looking for Information Systems Security Engineers at all levels who understand how to balance security, performance, and mission needs.
_Your Impact _
You'll work across the system lifecycle—design, assessment, authorization, and sustainment—ensuring security is built in from the ground up. Day-to-day, that can look like:
Performing and reviewing security assessments of complex systems and environments
Designing and integrating secure system, network, and enclave architectures
Applying RMF and other risk frameworks to support system authorization and compliance
Developing and maintaining security documentation (e.g., SSPs, RMF artifacts, ATO packages)
Identifying vulnerabilities and recommending mitigation strategies
Supporting security planning, risk analysis, and system hardening efforts
Ensuring compliance with NIST, NSA, and DoD security policies and standards
Collaborating with system engineers, network engineers, and program teams to implement secure solutions
Supporting continuous monitoring and ongoing system security improvements
Advising stakeholders on security requirements, trade-offs, and best practices
_Qualifications _
All positions require an active TS/SCI with polygraph
Experience in information systems security engineering, cybersecurity, or related roles
Strong understanding of RMF and security frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-37, 800-53)
Experience developing or supporting security documentation and authorization processes
Familiarity with system hardening, vulnerability management, and compliance tools
Ability to communicate security concepts clearly across technical and non-technical teams
A degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
_Nice to Have _
DoD 8570/8140 compliance (e.g., CISSP, CASP+, CAP, or similar certifications)
Experience with tools such as Nessus, STIG Viewer, SCAP Compliance Checker, or Xacta
Experience supporting ATO processes or continuous monitoring programs
Familiarity with system architecture, networking, or cloud environments
Experience supporting mission or operational environments within the IC/DoD
