We are seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), for the Cybersecurity Support Services for Offutt AFB Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN). This project will provide Cybersecurity Support Services for Offutt AFB's DRSN and other Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) systems in support of the US Air Force's 55th Strategic Communications Squadron (55 SCS).

    This is an on-site position at the Offutt Air Force Base (AFB), Nebraska Monday–Friday (0730–1630).

    So, what will the Senior Information Systems Security Officer, at Terrestris do?

    The Senior Information Systems Security Officer will be a full-time personnel position for the Cybersecurity Support Services for Offutt AFB Defense Red Switch Network contract, providing DRSN cybersecurity support. This position will establish and continuously maintain the Authorization to Operate (ATO) for Offutt DRSN, related subsystems, as well as Offutt DRSN accreditation associated with segments of multiple NC3 systems that connect to Offutt DRSN, such as Presidential and National Voice Conferencing (PNVC), various gateways, and long local communications circuits, in accordance with risk management framework (RMF) guidelines and risk management framework directives (NIST 800-53, Rev 4, Security and Privacy Controls for Federal Information Systems and Organizations, Committee on National Security Systems Instruction No. 1253 (CNSSI 1253, Rev 4), Security Categorization and Control Selection for National Security Systems, DODI 8510.01, Risk Management Framework for DoD Systems, and DISAI 270-50-9, Life Cycle Sustainment Planning).

    This position is contingent upon contract award.

    What does a typical day look like for a Senior Information Systems Security Officer ?

    You will:

    • Establish and maintain ATO for Offutt DRSN and interconnected NC3 systems
    • Lead RMF lifecycle using NIST 800-53, CNSSI 1253, DoDI 8510.01
    • Maintain RMF Body of Evidence in XACTA
    • Conduct vulnerability assessments and audit response plans
    • Perform Special Security Representative (SSR) functions
    • Support inspections and external audits

    What qualifications do you look for?

    You might be the professional we're looking for if you have:

    • A current Top Secret clearance is required.
    • Authorization to permanently work in the United States without sponsorship.
    • Associate degree (minimum) in IT or Cybersecurity
    • Minimum 4 years RMF / ISSO experience
    • Training Required in accordance with DoD 8140 for this role: Bachelors in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, OR one of the following certifications: GMON, SecurityX / CASP+, CCISO, CCSP, CGRC/CAP, CISSO, Cloud+, GCSA, GSEC, Security+, SSCP, OR one of the following DOD/Military Training: 531-25B40-C46, Information Systems Security Manager (Intermediate) Playlist.
