    Position Overview:
    Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Company, is looking for an experienced and talented Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support one of our critical programs. This role provides the opportunity to lead cybersecurity engineering across complex systems, ensuring security is integrated throughout design, development, and deployment. The ISSO will collaborate closely with stakeholders to maintain accreditation and authorization in accordance with DoD RMF standards.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Automate Linux, Vmware, Hardware, software into an integrated and easy to use environment for end users.
    • Lead the cybersecurity engineering lifecycle for assigned systems, ensuring security principles are applied from design through deployment.
    • Develop and maintain RMF documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Controls Traceability Matrices (SCTMs), and Plans of Action.
    • Conduct detailed security impact analyses for system changes, software updates, and configuration modifications.
    • Evaluate architectures and configurations for compliance with NIST SP 800-53, DISA STIGs, and DoD directives.
    • Work closely with the customer to prepare systems for accreditation and authorization.
    • Support vulnerability management using ACAS/Nessus, STIG and other compliance tools.
    • Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate security controls into all phases of system development.
    • Review, and update documentation to ensure system configurations align with current baselines and security requirements.
    • Provide technical mentorship to junior cybersecurity engineers and serve as a subject-matter expert for RMF and DoD security policy.
    • Own the relationship with the Government ISSM/ISSO.
    • Integrate into a DEVSECOPS pipeline for faster monitoring and reporting of the baseline.

    Minimum Qualifications:_

    • 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, information assurance, or systems security architecture.
    • Experience with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and security control assessments (NIST SP 800-37, 800-53).
    • Hands-on experience with ACAS/Nessus
    • Working knowledge of network security, virtualization (VMware, Kubernetes, Docker), and system hardening practices.
    • Experience with security automation tools such as Ansible, and Python.
    • Familiarity with compliance auditing, configuration management, and documentation best practices.
    • In-scope polygraph
    • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
    • Must have an active driver's license and clean driving record.
    • U.S. Citizenship.
    • Ability to travel within the United States < 10% of the time.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Active CISSP, CISM, or Security+ CE certification.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
    • Experience supporting Defensive Cyber Operations.
    • Experience supporting USCYBERCOM.
    • Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and SCAP/OpenSCAP compliance automation.
    • Experience with DevOps pipeline tools such as Jenkins, Github or other tools.
