  • Responsibilities

    Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is looking for a candidate to provide Windows System Administration of servers and hosts on the Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) network supporting NIWC PAC's physical security posture. The selected candidate will work as the primary System Administrator for a customer managing physical and virtual Windows servers and desktop systems running Windows 10

    Specific job duties include:

    • System administration duties for Windows Servers and Desktops.
    • Remediation of  vulnerabilities.
    • Managing STIG compliance
    • Adherence to Communications Task Orders (CTOs)
    • Meeting IAVM requirements.
    • Administration of Web Hosting and SQL Servers to ensure efficient error free operation.
    • Management of HBSS and ACAS.

    Clearance Level

    • Secret

    Certifications (IAT Level II)

    One of the following:

    • Security+ CE
    • GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
    • Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP)
    • System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)

    Required Skills

    • 3+ Years of Experience with Windows Systems
    • Experience with Windows VM environment
    • 2 years’ Experience with ACAS NESSUS scanners and HBSS

    Desired Skills

    • Knowledge of ITIL processes and ITIL Certification
    • Experience with the IAVM process
