Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is looking for a candidate to provide both Windows (primary environment) and Linux System Administration on the Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) network supporting a US Government Customer. The selected candidate will work as the primary System Administrator for small laboratory of less than 20 systems to support testing of emerging software for test and production environments.Primarily focused on Windows infrastructure, the candidate must have a basic working knowledge of Linux as well

Specific job duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Windows 2012 or 2016 system administration
• Windows 10 desktop, laptop and VM system administration
• Create and manage virtual machines and snapshots
• Maintain asset inventory, act as the focal point for user account, network permissions, and access requests
• Implement STIG requirements and maintain STIG checklists
• Generate and review ACAS scans including STIG related findings, upload results to program dashboard.
• Maintain ACAS compliance on all network devices (Windows and Linux). Troubleshoot and remediate vulnerabilities and non-compliance as necessary.
• Experience hardening servers to DISA standards and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans and documenting variances from the guidelines when needed.
• Familiarity with the DADMS process.

• Security+ CE
• GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
• Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP)
• System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
  

Required Skills

• 3+ Years of Experience with Windows Systems
• Experience with Red Hat VM environment
• Experience with Windows VM environment

Desired Skills

• Linux and PowerShell scripting and automation
• Knowledge of SQL is a plus
• Knowledge of Network Attached Storage
