Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is looking for a candidate to develop and maintain a relational database design supporting a US Government Customer on the Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) network. The selected candidate will work as the primary Engineer for a customer who requires existing Excel  data to be migrated into a new relational database model hosted in a Cloud environment. The customer will assist the requirements definition and end user roles so the candidate can focus on the translation of those requirements into actionable development of the relational database.  An assessment of the appropriate database vendor/provider has not yet been done, and the candidate will need to complete that as part of this project. 

Specific job duties include:

• Create, test, and validate a relational database built on a mature database application (SQL, etc.) hosted in an AWS Cloud environment.
• Assist in the requirements definition based on end user roles and other interactions with the customer and their user base.
• RedHat Linux system administration.
• Web application server administration.
• Performing required IA scanning and applying STIGs as required.
• Patching and troubleshooting Windows 10 hosts.

• GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)
• Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP)

Required Skills

• 3+ Years of Experience with design and maintenance of relational databases

Desired Skills

• AWS Cloud Certification
• Experience with Red Hat VM environment
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and ITIL Certification
• Experience with the IAVM process
